Rockadrome : I'm sure Monster Records needs no introduction to the Peacedog crowd, but for the newcomers: Monster was a cool label that specialized in re-issuing vintage 70's rock and NWOBHM style stuff, like LEGEND and POOBAH. Now, Monster has reinvented itself as ROCKADROME, and the label and distro site is at, you guessed it, www.rockadrome.com! The site is very readable and easy to navigate given the no-frills nature of its design, which is appreciated in this day and age of gratuitous flash animation and other displays of bandwidth-busting futility.

When you log on to the site, the white and red lettering on a black background gives you a concise idea of where to further browse... And browse further everyone should. The selection of obscure releases in the varied genres of doom/black/modern/prog/stoner/thrash, and just about every other subdivision you can imagine, is top notch. The old Monster Records catalogue is still available to order, as well as selections from the new Rockadrome roster. Vinyl and DVDs are also up for grabs, but with a tighter selection. As a new site, there is still plenty of room for growth. Given the great releases for sale on the site, Rockadrome is definitely worth some of your much-valued surf-time.
