The liner notes for this incredible 2 disc set read "The Rock Invasion Continues", and with music and recording artists like this, People Like You is going to take over the world. We are already overrun! This molten slab of proto-punkabilly is what so many of you have been looking for since THE CLASH broke up. There are so many great bands on this thing, it is impossible for me to get to each one, so here are some highlights. 69-HARD are trying to take over where Glenn Danzig left off, but this stuff hits you where the sun don't shine. THE V8 WANKERS always give me a chuckle with their punked-up ALABAMA THUNDERPUSSY car wreck - hard, heavy and southernized. Of course no compilation like this would be complete without a song by ADAM WEST. They don't re-invent the wheel, but they will certainly take you for a ride with their unmistakable brand of groove-rock and Kevin Hoffman's HELLACOPTERS-esque guitar shredding.

Side 2 brings up a high-octane punk anthem from Germany's own SQUAD 21 (bitchin' cymbal work, guys). LA's BLOOD JUNKIES provide a West-Side-Story-meets-Godzilla meets DEEP PURPLE's Hammond for a deep cut unlike anything you've heard before.
