My God this is good! WOLF reminds me of MAIDEN with KING DIAMOND vocals and some PRIEST (slight Halford influence on the vocals). I even felt compelled to see if they have anything else available. Much like Canada's RAMMER, they bring the Hessian aggression in force! Normally I hate bands that try to do the MAIDEN thing, but guitar players Johannes Losbäck and Nick Olsson make me wanna gay off so I can hit on them. Total skill! Blonde metal sluts of the world should bow down to this band like yesterday! They are powerful and mighty!

Track after track is consistent. My only beef is that I find songs about how you "won't see the guy until he strikes" (or whatever you can derive from one of these fine songs), kinda hard to believe with such high falsetto. I wasn't hip to the pic of the pyramid-studded-whatever on the back, either (which made me think of MÖTLEY CRÜE when they were good). This is nothing like that! This is NWOBHM madness from Sweden. Plus, they butch "Don't Fear the Reaper" which is unforgivable even with all the rock they lay down.

Regardless of my beefs, this is an impressive disc that will continue to be played and recommended to fans of MAIDEN or MERCYFUL FATE. Never has a band name been so accurate. It's a tough metal disc for the millennial generation to show them how it was done and why it should still be done. Highly recommended! Now go power wash your Camaro, bitches!!
