  • Not sure exactly what to make of these guys. Gimme a few and I’ll… Hey, what do you want!? I don’t get paid for this and I’m stoned out of my gourds!! Ok, you. They play hardcore with the production style of an 80’s doom band. The bass and drums have that deep metal sound of a SAINT VITUS album circa SST. It also shares some of those same aesthetics found in the production styles of mid 80’s stuff by DISCHARGE or BROKEN BONES. It also shares a similar overall sound of those two hardcore stalwarts and I would not be surprised if someone from one of those acts (who shared the same guitarist at different times) was in this band. All I can tell you is that this is some really beefy hardcore that makes me feel like a slammin’ and a skankin’. They bring very little new to the table, but it works more for me personally than any other ‘80’s retro hardcore punk/metal that I’ve heard thus far in recent memory. I might actually listen to this again for a third time. For me, that’s saying something.
