Yes, DC’s ASSROCKERS have returned with their first full-length album, and as the band’s name might suggest, the name of the game is a 100% fun, rock-out-witcha-cock-out good time. Every track is built around rousing, headbanging riffs and barnstorming solos that call to mind the grooviest grooverockers like COC, FU MANCHU and CLUTCH. It’s a two-guitar assault assembled for the single purpose of, well…getting the chicks to shake their asses. Sure, the riffs are fuzzed-out and the vocals are husky, but sleazy names like “Riff Rokkwell”, “Killer T-Roxx” and “Shanghai Skorz” along with song titles like “Dirty Mind” and “My Baby Left Me for General Electric” have me wondering if these guys aren’t third cousins-twice-removed from the KIX crew. But fear not, “All Hell’s Breaking Loose Tonight” isn’t a cover of that lame sans-makeup proto-rap KISS tune. True, you may have heard this style before, but honestly, it's been awhile since you've heard anything this raw and in-your-face, so it’s ok for you to pick it up at your soonest convenience.
