  • Going through the motions.

  • The sixth release album already by this 'band' based around ex-SAVATAGE guitarist Jack Frost. Singer James Rivera (ex-HELSTAR) has been replaced by ex-HADES and ex-NON-FICTION singer Alan Tecchio, who also brought his old band mate Kevin Bolembach (bass) with him. The result is exactly what you'd expect with band names like that. Musically there's nothing wrong with it, but song-wise it falls somewhat short, and that silly cover version of BILLY IDOL's "Flesh For Fantasy" doesn't help. Now I love me some traditional metal, but personally I think younger bands like SLOUGH FEG, VALKYRIE and BIBLE OF THE DEVIL do this stuff better. At least their music has a level of excitement that's sorely missing here. No matter how great is is to hear Alan Tecchio singing again, this is basically some old metal guys routinely going through the old metal motions. For completists only.
