Baseball, hot dogs, apple pie, and Chevrolet. What do these things have in common with this CD from Peruvian sextrash death merchants ANAL VOMIT? Not much - but they are clichès. And there's a certain amount of cliches that are just burned into our brains so that we can't escape if we tried. Think about the word "housewife" and what comes to mind? Most likely the sixties green-tinted vision of the lady with the apron, like Samantha from "Bewitched" or something like that. Well, while we're on the subject of witchcraft, it is important to point out that heavy metal has it's share of clichès too. And ANAL VOMIT deserves a special reward for using just about all of them on this disc.

We've got the bimbos from hell, in hell, with the goat lord dude. We've got the bullet belts, the VENOM shirts, skeletons, "smell the glove" kinda shtick...you get the idea. I don't think they left anything out, except for maybe the bullet-metal shining logo. Instead we get the hairy / spikey Peruvian jungle kind of logo, which seems fitting enough except I can actually read what it says. Musically, this is the roughest, sorest thing I've experienced since that day I cleared the hedges and discovered the poison oak cropping up everywhere. Truthfully, its the subtleties on a disc like this that just win my heart, like the dogs barking in the background during the chorus of "Signo De La Bestia". That's some real creativity, there. My only complaint with the whole thing would be the drummer's style, as he seems to settle into his favorite blastbeat in just about every track, and it kinda gets old after awhile. But, overall, I found the disc to be just ruff 'n ready enough to keep me banging away at the steering wheel, especially during the spicy riffage of "Kingdom of the Cruelty II". If you think KRISIUN is as good as it gets for good 'ol Latin American jungle rot 'ardcore Mantas worship, think again. Boil your head in this for awhile to cure excess facial blemishes.
