If you're into bands like HELSTAR, SEVEN WITCHES, ICED EARTH, FATES WARNING, NEVERMORE or GRIM REAPER it's pretty damn certain you'll like this album too. PAGANIZE play a kind of heavy metal that's so 'traditional' it borders on karaoke. It's certainly not worse than any of those bands. My only point of criticism would be that (you guessed it) I have literally heard every note, every riff and every vocal somewhere else, namely on any one of those albums by the bands mentioned above. If you own everything by those bands and you feel you need to have every release in this genre feel free to see this review as a recommendation. Personally I think it's all good but unremarkable.

In fact, the only thing that's 'remarkable' about this record is that PAGANIZE are not a bunch of Americans but a Norwegian band with none other than a certain Trym (he of EMPEROR and ZYKLON) behind the drumkit! They could have fooled me. And they did.
