Ok kids, get out your white belts and tight t-shirts and acoustic guitar?. It's time to act punk. Whoever decided that this compilation was a good idea should be slapped. First off the ONLY band on this 15 track disaster that comes into the realm of punk is ANTI-FLAG, and how they managed to grace this cd with their presence is beyond me.

The title implies that "punk" bands are playing acoustic songs. However, the bands on this comp are not punk rock. I'll say it again, "Not Punk Rock". If you like your mall-ass emo with an acoustic guitar, then you'll love this. I wanted to cry when I heard this, but my 'feelings' were so mixed up that I threw it in my toilet instead.

At first, I wanted to write about how acoustic punk is actually folk music. But this isn't exactly CRASS, the SUBHUMANS, or even the RAMONES playing acoustic. I feel sorry that ANTI-FLAG had to be grouped with these other bands. I like them and won't hold this against them. But damn, if someone wants to put out a comp of "PUNK" bands playing acoustic, then please do it with some integrity.
