This is one very lo fi disc. It’s so shrill it makes bands like THE MUMMIES or THE GORIES sound like WINGER productionwise. It is so obnoxious and grating it makes the LIVE FAST DIE disc seem polite in comparison. The vocals are snarly and abrasive. The drums are pushed way into the red. Quite distorted they are for sure. The guitar has varying degrees of fuzz and twang mixed. The bass is distorted and boomy. I’ve heard plenty of bedroom recordings over the years and this one still took my ears by surprise. Once your ears acclimate themselves this can become a fun disc to drink to I suppose. Right now it’s kind getting on my nerves. It luckily ends quickly (23 minutes long) before it can completely cripple the listener. This is a good thing.
