I didn’t have high hopes for this one to be honest. Two white German guys trying the emulate the sound of black American blues cats didn’t sound all that promising to me. The blatantly unfunny lyrics to their song “Dick Shake” (yeah, it’s about that) didn’t help either. Luckily the record turned out to be quite enjoyable. It’s garage blues at it’s rawest. If you like LESTER BUTLER and his RED DEVILS you’ll get a pretty good idea of what to expect. Apart from their own songs there are decent versions of blues classics like “Dust My Broom” and “Rollin And Tumblin”. What else is there to say? Zero points for originality but a big A+ for groove and rawness. Their website is snazzy, hit it via the link below!
