  • It really is ok, actually.

  • Fast and furious hardcore punk is the order of the day, and this San Francisco quartet is serving. DEADFALL will bludgeon you on this six song 7 inch. Just when you think you have these guys figured out, they throw you a curve ball (or at least a slider, high and away.) The intro to "Evacuation Plan" will actually get your foot tapping with what sounds like some 60's garage rock before the blast beats level you. "What a Bogus" further dispels any notions of DEADFALL's two dimensionality with a hearty surf rock influence, reverb and all. With no song exceeding two minutes, DEADFALL never give the listener the opportunity to get bored, and they display just enough versatility to set them apart in a crowded genre.
